THE “COMMON” FOLK
STREET PHOTOGRAPHY AND PORTRAITURE BOOK
This body of work combines portraiture and street photography,
documenting different faces of the human condition and intimate
moments as they unfold. Aswell as written recollections of my
most memorable interactions and premonitions that changed my
approach to photography, and my perspective on human beings.
In total, I took around seven thousand digital photos for
December 2022 to August 2023 in Boston, Massachusetts, and
Providence, Rhode Island.

THE “COMMON” FOLK included a series of short films.
Throughout this project’s creation, sound was a major source of inspiration in creating this project.
The music I listened to while taking photos, interactions, and conversations I overheard, and conversations
I had drawn a deep connection to the people I found fascinating to talk to and captivating to look at.
